Godni Amir, Founder and Creative Director
Godni is a New York-based singer/songwriter, actor, and makeup artist. Informed by his own personal experience with a beloved voice teacher’s battle with cancer, Godni began A Free Bird to create a nurturing artistic environment for pediatric cancer patients.
Godni’s work as a makeup artist has been prominently featured in print, on the runway, and at private events. His national print work includes covers of Women’s Wear Daily; articles in Intimate Magazine and O, The Oprah Magazine; billboards for Curve, the first documentary to feature plus-size models, and more. Through his work with Bobbi Brown, he has created looks for celebrity clients including Rihanna, Veanne Cox, Brooklyn Sudano, and photographers Gail Hadani and John Healy.
As a musician, Godni records his own music with a variety of New York-area musicians. Most recently, Godni worked with producer Bob Esti to create and record a theme song for A Free Bird.
