This program’s focus is to assist our artists in gaining a foothold in the creative community of New York
City and other cities as budding professionals, by helping them find a platform to
showcase their work.
We provide advice and practical assistance, including creating a resume and establishing an online presence, as well as providing parents with the knowledge to support their child as they undertake new experiences.
A Free Bird also connects them with established artists in their respective disciplines and provides them with information about grants, contests, publishers, and more. Every young artist who participates stands in the spotlight: aspiring models walk their first runway, singers perform on their first big stage, artists show their work in galleries.
Alumni of our Fly Free program have gone on to release singles, sing at Madison Square Gardens, start their own bakeries, and have their art shown at New York’s premier galleries. Their new found confidence and knowledge helps them fly free on the next chapter of their journey.
