Get Excited
The aim of the Get Excited initiative is to create true value for both small businesses and
consumers, creating the opportunity for the community to get involved and give back.
By creating special ‘Deal of the Day’ sponsorship ideas, a company might promote a certain
product or service, with a portion of profits going to A Free Bird. They promote this opportunity,
and the local community engages to support a good cause – higher sales and money raised to
support children affected by cancer: a win win! During the pandemic, there has been a natural
shift to online promotions rather than in-store.
A Free Bird is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your donations qualify as
a charitable contribution. By donating, you also will gain access to a community of
like-minded people who are patrons of the arts and supporters of our cause.
